What is White Toner Printing?
White Toner Printing is a Transfer Printing Process for both apparel and hard surface goods.
This means that this printer prints using toner onto transfer paper, and that transfer is applied to a t-shirt or hard surface with a high temperature and high-pressure heat press.
Why Toner?
Unlike ink, toner is a dry process for transferring colors from a printer to a t-shirt. Toner is essentially a powdered material that fuses together in the printer.
Benefits of Toner:

No liquid ink mess

No print head clogs

No maintenance

Low cost per print
Why White Toner?
White Toner works as a primer for the other colors. By printing with White Toner, the printer can create vibrant colors that stand out on dark and black garments.
(Think about it this way. If you are wearing a black shirt, and spill tomato sauce on it, you won’t see it. Now imagine spilling that same sauce on a white shirt.)
White Toner allows any color to be printed on any color material.

What do you print on?
The most important tool for the printer is the transfer paper. The transfer paper is what takes the toner and carries it onto the t-shirt or hard surface item. The type of material can help dictate the best transfer material for the printing job.
The Different Types of EZ-Peel Transfer Paper include:

EZ Peel Transfer Paper
This is the original style of transfer paper and a 2 Step Process. That means there is the A Sheet that goes into the printer and the B Sheet with a special glue called a polymer. These two are then combined with a high-pressure high-temperature heat press. That transfer is now ready to go onto a t-shirt or be sold on its own.

EZ Peel OneStep
As the name implies, this is an alternate version of the EZ Peel Transfer Paper and a One Step process. Rather than needing an A Sheet and a B Sheet as the original paper, this paper simply prints and is ready to press. This paper was created as a time-saving and cost-efficient option.

EZ Peel Hard Surface
This version of the EZ Peel Transfer Paper is another one-step process. This transfer paper is specially coated to work with hard surface goods. This allows the final transfer to be more resistant to scratches and use on hard surfaces.
Steps for printing with white toner:

- Design – Use any graphic art software, get a design online or from your customer
- Print - Use a special processing software (that comes with your printer) to print your graphic
- Heat Press– Depending on your transfer paper you might need to add a polymer (B sheet). This is what makes the print adhere to your shirt. This is a simple step that takes about a minute.
- Apply - Place the transfer on top of a t-shirt or other surface and apply heat using a heat press.
- Cool – Once the item cools down, you can peel off the transfer sheet.
- Finish – Most of the time you will press it one last time to finish the print.
- Sell it – Now the shirt is ready to be sold to your customer.
